The Journey We Planned
Day 1
On your arrival at Cape Town airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will then visit the Bo-Kaap for a Cape Malay tour. In the afternoon you will be escorted to the slopes of Table mountain to ascend the mountain by cable car for a spectacular view of the Mother City.
Day 2
After an early breakfast you will go on a Full day Cape Peninsula Tour to view some of the most beautiful coastal views. You will also visit the popular Seal Island and Boulders Beach.
Day 3
After breakfast you will go on a Cape Town City Tour and visit Robben Island. You will see all the historic sites around the island and take a tour of the prison. In the afternoon you will visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and take in the panoramic views from the canopy walkway.
Day 4
Depart for the Garden Route after breakfast. Enjoy the scenery and a stop for wine tasting. In Mosselbay you will visit the Diaz Museum where you can post a letter to a loved one under the 500 year old Post office tree postbox.
Day 5
Today after breakfast you will visit Botlierskop Private Game Reserve for a game drive and lunch at the reserve. Return to your hotel for a lovely dinner.
Day 6
After breakfast you will visit Knysna to enjoy a boat trip on the lagoon with lunch. You will visit the Knysna head lookout point with its magnificent views. Visit the local Community and discover how the townships started.
Day 7
This morning after breakfast you will drive on the Outeniqua Pass and visit the Cango Caves and an Ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn where you will enjoy lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Cango Wildlife ranch.
Day 8
Today after breakfast we depart for Port Elizabeth. On the way we will visit Birds of Eden and Tsitsikamma park with the Big Tree, an eight hundred year old Yellowwood, in the heart of the forest.
Day 9
Today after breakfast you will depart for your flight from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg. You will then depart for Kruger National Park.
Day 10
After breakfast at the lodge you will go on a morning and afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for a traditional dinner.
Day 11
After breakfast at the lodge you wil go on a morning and afternoon game drive or just relax at the lodge. Return to the lodge for a traditional dinner.
Day 12
After breakfast you wil depart for Johannesburg to visit Sandton City and see the Nelson Mandela statue. After your Sandton visit you will be transported to the airport for your flight back home.
