You’ll reside in the luxurious Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge, perched on a bluff with stunning panoramic views of the sanctuary, providing the perfect base for your daily explorations.
Your days will be filled with thrilling game drives in custom-built 4×4 safari vehicles, guided by accredited English-speaking safari guides who will help you spot the majestic lions, amongst other fascinating species. The adventure doesn’t stop at sunset; two night game drives are included, offering a unique perspective of the nocturnal life in the African wilderness.

The Journey We Planned
Day 1
SOROI LIONS BLUFF LODGE • LUMO COMMUNITY WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Start your adventure at Wilson Airport, where you’ll board a scheduled light aircraft destined for the Taita Hills Airstrip in the early afternoon. As you fly over Kenya’s spectacular landscapes, brace yourself for the awe-inspiring adventure ahead. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our local team and transferred to the Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge.
Settle into your room and take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking views of the Lumo Conservancy. Enjoy a delicious lunch crafted from local ingredients as part of your full-board accommodation. Spend the afternoon at leisure, adjusting to the serene environment. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner as the evening falls before retiring to your room for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2
Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Post breakfast, set off on your first scheduled game drive in a custom-built 4×4 safari vehicle. Guided by an accredited English-speaking safari guide, this is your first opportunity to spot the majestic lions of Lumo and other local wildlife.
Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, explore different sanctuary regions in your second game drive of the day. As the sun sets, indulge in your included sundowner – a classic safari tradition – amidst the wild, watching as the landscape transforms with the fading light.
Back at the lodge, enjoy a relaxing 30-minute massage to unwind after a thrilling day. Savor a delectable dinner, complete with locally branded beverages of your choice.

Day 3

Day 5
Wake up to a relaxed morning. After breakfast, prepare for your light aircraft transfer from Taita Hills Airstrip back to Wilson Airport. As you fly over the scenic landscapes one last time, take a moment to reflect on the incredible adventure you’ve had in the heart of the African wilderness.
This marks the end of your ‘Lions of Lumo’ adventure, but the memories of this incredible journey will stay with you long after you’ve returned home.
