Little Governors Camp

Situated on the periphery of the Masai Mara National Reserve, the camp is easily reached via a brief boat journey across the Mara River, followed by a guided walk through the lush riverine forest. Motor vehicles are left on the opposite bank of the river, ensuring a serene and undisturbed atmosphere at the camp. The guest tents at Little Governors’ are equipped with wooden decks and spacious verandas, offering guests a splendid vantage point to witness the continuous wildlife activity unfolding around the marsh in front of the camp.

Meals at Little Governors’ are a delightful open-air affair, with breakfast and lunch served in a natural setting, occasionally graced by the presence of resident warthog families casually strolling among the dining tables. As all Governors’ properties maintain an unfenced design, an array of wildlife often pays a visit to the camp, and guests may find themselves making way for majestic elephants, which are known to drop by during lunchtime. In the evenings, a cozy log fire crackles in front of the bar tent, setting the perfect ambiance for guests, and a romantic candlelit dinner awaits in the adjacent dining tent.
